Oct. 8th & 9th Breast Cancer Awareness Tournament

Rule Reminders:

1. Pool Play into single elimination format 3GG.  All Teams Move onto single elimination after 2 games in pool play.

 Pool Play tie breakers:

                                                i.   Head to Head

                                                ii.   Run Differential

                                                iii.   Runs Given Up

                                                iv.   Runs Scored

                                                v.   Coin Flip

2. Coin-flip for home team for pool play.  The higher seed will have choice of home team in elimination round

3. 6 warm-up pitches in the first inning.  1 warm-up in between innings

4. No infield warm up in between innings

5. 1 courtesy runner per inning, last out has to be the runner.

6. Mercy Rule is 20 after3, 15 after 4, and 10 after 5.  There is a run rule in the championship games.

7. Game are scheduled for 1 hour and 10 minutes and there is a 1 hour 15 minute time limit for pool play games.  You will finish the inning you are playing but no inning will start after the time limit.

8. Teams must be at the field and ready to play 15 minutes before the posted game time.  Game time is forfeit time

9. 1-1 count with a courtesy foul

10.         Pitching arc is 3 foot from release of the ball to 10 foot off the ground (Verbal "Illegal" will NOT be called during the flight of the pitch.)

11.         Pitcher can pitch anywhere in the pitcher's box.   ( a six foot extension behind the pitchers plate )

12.         We use a .44/400 11” ball for the women’s tournament and a .52/275 12” ball for the men’s tournament.  Balls will be provided.   Coed will use the same specs for each gender.

13.         We are using 65 foot base paths

14.         2 Home Runs per game for men’s tournament.  Unlimited home runs for women’s tournament.  Excessive home runs are outs
